Hello Hop N Hen Farm friends,
This year, 2025, we will be raising ten groups of certified organic pastured Cornish Cross broiler chickens. Prices and deposits will remain the same: $6.50/lb for whole broiler chickens and $10 deposit per chicken. If you’d like to order one chicken from each of the ten groups, ie: one “chicken share”, it would be a deposit of $100. If you’d like to order 4 chickens from each of the ten groups, ie: four “chicken shares”, it would be a deposit of $400.
Broiler chickens are available every other week from mid-June to mid-October. Our tentative schedule is to have them available for pickup each processing week: (1.) fresh at our farm Wednesdays 8am to 8pm, or (2.) fresh at the Henniker Community Market on Thursdays 4-7pm, or (3.) frozen at the Concord Farmers’ Market on Saturdays 8:30am to noon. Chicken not sold the week of processing will be available the following week, frozen at the farmers’ markets. Packages of livers, hearts, necks, and gizzards are also available.

(J.) October 22, 23, 25
We are again raising organic pastured turkeys for November feasting. Ordering details will be available later this spring.
