We do NOT sell live poultry
Hello Hop N Hen Farm friends,
This year, 2025, we will be raising ten groups of certified organic pastured Cornish Cross broiler chickens. Prices and deposits will remain the same: $6.50/lb for whole broiler chickens and $10 deposit per chicken. If you are interested in ordering poultry: send us an email, call us, put a note in the mail, come see us at the farmers’ markets, or stop by the farm.

Broiler chickens are available every other week from mid-June to mid-October. Our tentative schedule is to have them available for pickup each processing week: (1.) fresh at our farm Wednesdays 8am to 8pm, or (2.) fresh at the Henniker Community Market on Thursdays 4-7pm, or (3.) frozen at the Concord Farmers’ Market on Saturdays 8:30am to noon. Chicken not sold the week of processing will be available the following week, frozen at the farmers’ markets. Packages of livers, hearts, necks, and gizzards are also available.

Organic pastured turkeys available for your November feasting. This year we are raising a turkey called the “Mini Classic”, smaller than our usual breed. We hope to grow them to be a dressed weight of 15-20 lb. They should be ready for pick up early in November. Each turkey comes with neck, heart, liver, and gizzard. To reserve a turkey please send a deposit of $50. (NOTE: If you want it for Thanksgiving dinner, you have to freeze it.)
Thank you for your continued support of our farm and local NH agriculture.
