how to order poultry

Hello Hop N Hen Farm friends,

In 2026 we look forward to another year of raising our certified organic pastured poultry: ten groups of Cornish Cross broiler chickens and one batch of turkeys.

Broiler chickens were available, about, every other week from mid-June to mid-October. Our tentative schedule is to have them available for pickup each processing week: (1.) fresh at our farm Wednesdays or (2.) at the Henniker Community Market or (3.) at the Concord Farmers’ Market. Chicken not sold the week of processing will be available the following week, frozen at the farm or farmers’ markets. Packages of livers, hearts, necks, and gizzards are also available. To pre-order chickens, a deposit of $10/chicken is needed.

We hope you will consider signing up for our “Chicken Shares”. One share is 10 chickens, one from each group, every-other week, with a deposit of $100. Two shares is 20 chickens, two from each group, with a deposit of $200, and so on… For each Chicken Share that you order before May 1st (with paid deposit) you will receive a $15 vegetable credit to be used throughout the year.
