We have had a great spring at Hop N Hen Farm. We had an abundant crop of lovely lettuces. We have our old favorite cut-and-come-again blend of small leaf lettuces. Also there are two varieties of mini romaine heads: Truchas and Xalbadora. They both are just the right size for a small household, but Truchas gets all the oooh’s and aaah’s at the farmers’ markets for being so colorful and cute. This year we tried a new variety of romaine called “Green Towers”, it is producing beautiful large crisp heads. I see a salad in your future!
