Happy Mud Season

We are so grateful for all our customers and your continued support of our farm, and the friendship of other farmer, thank you all for being foodies.

We have not been asleep the whole winter: virtual workshops have been attended, the little onions and leeks seedlings are already growing under the grow-lights, repairs are being made to the mobile chicken tractors, and the inventory and re-ordering of supplies. We have seeded the High Tunnel with spring greens, peas, radishes, and turnips. And, seeding all the other trays of transplants: tomatoes, zucchini, cabbages, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, peppers…

Steve wanted to keep life exciting this month, so he slipped while out hiking and broke his radius. We hope his wing will heal quickly. We were already looking for extra hands to help us on the farm this year (seeding, harvesting, washing, packing, and poultry processing). Now we really could use a few extra hands (and strong backs) that can lift heavy things up and put then down!

We are now ready to accept orders for broiler chickens and Thanksgiving turkeys. For more information see the “How to Order Poultry” page.
