rainbow chard

The abundance of Rainbow Chard after a long week of rain. It is all so beautiful. As I was crawling through the garden picking these big colorful bunches, I kept thinking of my Mother-In-Law who says “I love you big bunches” to all her kiddos, grandkids, and greatgrands.

Some folks slice up the stalks, like celery, for their salads. I like to saute the chopped stems and later add the greens, cooking long enough to wilt them a bit. How do you eat chard?
